Mai Ko Xiong, MSW, LICSW
CEO & Founder, Well-Being Mental Health and Consulting Services

I’m Mai Ko Xiong, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and the CEO and Founder of Well-Being Mental Health and Consulting Services. I provide individual and group therapy rooted in cultural humility, empathy, and trust, with a passion for serving BIPOC, refugee, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities. My goal is to walk alongside individuals as they heal, grow, and thrive.

Clinically, I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, psychotic symptoms, chronic pain, and health-related stress. My approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strength-based—centered on honoring each person’s lived experience while fostering resilience and meaningful change. I work closely with clients navigating chronic health conditions, helping them manage emotional distress, build coping strategies, and improve their overall quality of life.

As a refugee and Hmong-speaking clinician, I bring a deep personal understanding of cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and resilience. I strive to create an affirming, safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered—especially those who have historically been underserved or misunderstood in traditional mental health settings.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and raising my children. Whether you’re seeking support for mental health challenges, chronic illness, or personal growth, I am here to support you with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and care.

Meet the rest of the team!
